Kabul: A group of 11 senior Afghan journalists arrived in Moscow on Thursday for one- week long trip to meet with their Russian counterparts.
The visit, organized by Afghanistan Journalists Center (AFJC), is sponsored by the Foundation for Public Diplomacy Support, Russia’s premier news agency, Novosti, Center for Contemporary Afghan Studies and Tat media group of Tatarstan.
"The journalists will visit some key media outlets here in Moscow and Kazan, capital of Tataristan republic to exchange views on topics of interest and learn from each other," said Faisal Karimi, deputy director of AFJC, who is part of the delegation.
The delegation will meet with senior officials in Moscow and Kazan too, Karimi added.
It's the third visit as such in the last decade that Afghan journalists and political experts are paying a visit to the Russia
